About Me
I am Ro (Róisín Lynam). I’m an Audiobook Narrator and Voice Actor born and bred in Ireland and currently living on the West Coast. My focus is on sincere and wholehearted performances. My experience spans from childrens books, dark romance, romance, fantasy, dark fantasy, cookbooks and I am hoping to diversify my portfolio into commercial projects. However, my work with authors is my true joy and passion. I am not a suppoter of works of A.I and believe human voices are the only voices to narrate and truly expression the art of the written word.
How I became a narrator and Voice Actor
My journey began as a five year old when my parents enrolled me into communication and elocution classes in order for me to develop a region free accent and exceptional diction. This led me into theatre at the age of eight and performance became by passion from then on. I throw my energy into the emotion of roles and work closely with my authors to ensure their work is represented the way they imagine it.
I am also trained in commercial and cooperate vocal presentations to ensure a clear message for your product and business.
Narrating and Voice Acting has become the dream I didn’t even know I had. Every new book, snippet or short story makes me fall more and more in love with this craft. I have discovered I can learn accents quickly and adapt my performances fluidly. I work hard to improve my work, skills and knowledge to some day become a full time voice actor and audio book narrator.
I have also learned how to produce high standard audio which has resulted in me being employed as producer for a number of audio books.
